Description
  • This research paper presents the speed differences between varying mathematical calculations in applications designed for finding the extreme values of multidimensional functions. The speed of the application is highly important because it is closely related to the speed of identifying the extreme value of a multidimensional function two completely different software solutions for the calculation of speed differences were used. The first was the Wolfram Mathematica - Version 7; and the second was the universal computing language X+. A parameter representing the number of calculations of a multidimensional function for 1 second was used as a comparison parameter. All simulations were processed on one PC without any configuration changes.
