Description	The main purpose of this work was to propose several variants allowing susceptible wireless connectivity into the university network in the area of UTB U5 with emphasis on the laboratories FAI. Significant criterion of the administration of the wireless interface was provision of as high as possible rate of safeguard with reference to hardware feasibility of the client equipment. Two designs of the practical realization of the wireless network in area U5 with different variants of safeguard were developed. The most perspective variant appears to be creation the VPN tunnel with use of the PPTP protocol. However, it is necessary to state, that realization of an absolutely safe wireless network is impossible.
