(cs) The article deals with experiences of an ERP system implementation in the Benes a Lat company. This company is a privately owned foundry with 250 employees and a long tradition of quality dating back to the 1930?s. The main aspects of its large development are a tradition, a progressive managerial style and a moderm infomniation technology. Since 2005 the company has used the information system called Karat, especially for managing manufacturing aluminum alloy castings, zinc alloy castings and plastic injected parts and toys. The ERP system Karat supports an effective increase of this company in the highly competitive environment. (en)
