| - The Marketing Audit is a control mechanism of the marketing behaviour of an organisation and ranks among the most significant elements of control mechanisms of the management of an enterprise, since its aim is to identify the problem areas of an enterprise and thus to create the pre-conditions for the correction of the same. In the course of the last 14 years, the proprietors and representatives of Czech enterprises have been forced to acquire those new Marketing skills and abilities, which were - for the managements of enterprises functioning in a market environment a matter of course. The research study was oriented on discovering whether Czech enterprises make use of Marketing Audits as a form of control mechanism

- Marketingový audit je kontrolou marketingového chování organizace a patří mezi významné součásti kontroly řízení podniku, přičemž jeho snahou je, aby identifikoval problémové oblasti firmy a vytvářel tak předpoklady pro jejich nápravu. V průběhu uplynulých 14 let byli představitelé českých firem nuceni si osvojit nové marketingové dovednosti, které byly pro manažery firem podnikajících v tržním prostředí samozřejmostí. Studie je orientována na problém využívání marketingového auditu jako firemního kontrolního nástroje u Českých firem. (cs)
