Description	V uplynulých deseti letech došlo k výrazným a nepřehlédnutelným změnám podnikatelského prostředí. V souvislosti s přijetím nových informačních a komunikačních technologií jak firmami, tak veřejností, dochází k výraznému globalizačnímu posunu a k zmenšování podnikatelského prostoru. Globální síťová ekonomika a všude přítomný dopad internetu mění dosavadní modely i pravidla podnikání a vytváří zcela nový konkurenční prostor. Mění se jak vnitřní, tak i vnější komunikace firmy. Zda jsou české firmy schopny obstát v %22nové ekonomice%22 se snažil poodkrýt průzkum provedený na přelomu roku 2001 a 2002 u 252 náhodně vybraných českých firem. Byla provedena analýza konkurenceschopnosti českých firem z pohledu jejich schopnosti vyrovnat se s prvky, které %22nová ekonomika%22 přináší do jejich podnikání, přičemž se průzkum zaměřil na podmínky konkurenceschopnosti z pohledu %22nové ekonomiky%22 včetně postavení informačních technologií, úroveň managementu, úroveň marketingu a marketingových činností The last ten years have seen significant and unforeseeable alterations to the entrepreneurial environment. As seen from the contextual background of the general acceptance of new informational and communicational technologies, there has been a profound globalisational shift not only by enterprises, but also the general public, and thereby a diminution of the entrepreneurial playing field. The global network of economies and the ever-present impact of the Internet have changed the existing models - eventhe rules of doing business and created completely new competitive environments. Thereby, not only the internal but also the external communications of enterprise have been changed. The question as to whether Czech enterprises would be able to stand up for themselves under the conditions of the %22New Economy%22 was one that a research project carried out in the course of 2001 and 2002 among some 252 randomly-selected Czech firms.
