  • Multi-wall carbon nanotubes (CNT) containing the residual nickel catalyst nanoparticles have been coated with a conducting polymer, polyaniline (PANI), directly during the oxidation of aniline in ethanol (50 vol%)?water mixture. The microscopy reveals that, at 20wt% of PANI, the polymer is deposited on CNT, at 50wt% of PANI, free PANI is found to accompany the nanotubes. The latter observation has been confirmed by the Raman spectroscopic mapping. The conductivity of composites of protonated PANI and CNT is practically independent of composition, 0?80wt% CNT, and is 1?2 S cm-1. The conductivity of similar composites with a non-conducting PANI base increased from 10-7 Scm?1 to 100 Scm-1 as the CNT content increased, without any percolation transition

  • Mnohostěnné uhlíkové nanotuby (CNT) obsahující residuální katalyzátor nanočástic niklu byly potaženy vodivým polymerem polyanilínem (PANI), přímo během oxidace polyanilinu v ethanolu (50 obj.%) a vodě. Mikroskopie vypovídá o tom, že při 20 hm.% PANI je polymer napolymerován na CNT a 50 hm.% PANI představuje volnou formu PANI, který byl nalezen na CNT. Tyto výsledky byly potvrzeny Ramanovou spektroskopií. Vodivost kompozitu protonovaných PANI a CNT je prakticky nezávislého složení v rozsahu 0-80 hm.% CNT a dosahují hodnot 1?2 S cm-1. Vodivost podobných kompozitu s nevodivou PANI ? bází roste od 10-7 Scm?1 do 100 Scm-1 s rostoucím podílem CNT bez perkolujícího přechodu. (cs)
