Description
| - The study deals with efficiency of the β-nucleating agent in isotactic polypropylenes (iPP) differing in melt flow indexes (MFI). Polymorphic composition of neat iPP and iPP containing 0.01 and 0.03 wt.% of β-nucleator was analyzed using wide-angle X-ray scattering. iPP with 0.03 wt.% crystallizes predominantly into β-phase while neat iPP into α-phase, both independently on MFI. The formation of β-phase in iPP with 0.01 wt.% is influenced by MFI of materials. Also processing temperature causes significant change in crystallization behaviour which can be ascribed to partial solubility of β-nucleator in melt. Thus the effect of processing temperature and solubility of β-nucleator is discussed.

- Studie se zabývá účinností β-nukleačního činidla u izotaktického polypropylénu (PP), index toku taveniny (ITT) od 0,3 do 1200 g/10 min. Polymorfní složení čistého PP a PP obsahujícího 0.01 a 0.03 hm. % β-nukleátoru bylo analyzováno širokoúhlou spektroskopií. PP s 0.03 hm. % krystalizuje převážně do β-fáze, zatímco čistý PP do α-fáze, oba nezávisle na ITT. Vytváření β-fáze v PP s 0.01 hm. % je ovlivněno ITT materiálu. Taktéž teplota zpracování způsobuje značné změny v krystalizačním chování. Ty mohou být připsány částečné rozpustnosti β-nukleátoru v tavenině. Tudíž vliv zpracovatelských teplot a rozpustnosti β-nukleátoru je diskutován. (cs)
