  • The work deals with efficiency of the β-nucleating agent in isotactic polypropylenes (PP) differing in melt flow indexes (MFI) from 0.3 to 1200 g/10 min. Polymorphic composition of neat PP and PP containing 0.01 and 0.03 wt. % of β-nucleator was analyzed using wide-angle X-ray scattering. PP with 0.03 wt. % crystallizes predominantly into β-form while neat PP into α-form, both independently on MFI. The formation of β-form in PP with 0.01 wt. % is influenced by MFI of the material. In this case the effect of processing time and temperature and solubility of β-nucleator in PP melt is discussed.

  • Práce pojednává o účinnosti β-nukleačního činidla v izotaktickém polypropylénu (PP) s rozdílným indexem toku taveniny (ITT) od 0,3 do 1200 g/10 min. Polymorfní složení čistého PP a PP obsahujícího 0.01 a 0.03 hm. % β-nukleátoru bylo analyzováno širokoúhlou spektroskopií. PP s 0.03 hm. % krystalizuje převážně do β-fáze, zatímco čistý PP do α-fáze, oba nezávisle na ITT. Vytváření β-fáze v PP s 0.01 hm. % je ovlivněno ITT materiálu. V tomto případě vliv času a teploty zpracování a rozpustnosti β-nukleátoru v PP tavenině je diskutován. (cs)
