  • Cílem práce bylo pozorovat vliv indexu toku taveniny (ITT) na fotooxidaci čistého a β-nukleovaného polypropylenu. Specifické β-nukleační činidlo v koncentraci 0,03 hm. % bylo zamícháno do pěti komerčních typů polypropylenu lišících se v ITT od 0,3 do 1 200 g/10 min. Poté byly lisováním vyrobené fólie čistých i nukleovaných materiálů vystaveny UV-záření po různé časy. Fotodegradační kinetika byla sledována pomocí infračervené spektroskopie a vyjádřena karbonyl indexem. Ten ukázal, že β-nukleované polypropyleny degradují výrazně pomaleji ve srovnání s čistými. ITT ovlivnil kinetiku degradace jen velmi málo a to nezávisle na obsahu nukleačního činidla: karbonyl index materiálu s nejnižším ITT výrazně rostl na začátku ozařování (více než u ostatních materiálů), nicméně při prodloužené době ozařování se tento rychlý růst zpomalil.   • The aim of the work was to observe the influence of melt flow index (MFI) on photooxidative degradability of neat and β-nucleated polypropylene. The concentration of 0.03 wt. % of specific β-nucleating agent NJ Star NU 100 was immixed into five commercial grades of polypropylene differing in melt flow index from 0.3 to 1200 g/10 min. Then, compression moulded films prepared from both the neat and β-nucleated materials were exposed to UV-irradiation for several exposure times. The photodegradation kinetics observed via infrared spectroscopy and expressed by carbonyl index was significantly slower for all β-nucleated polypropylenes. Melt flow index of the materials slightly influenced the photooxidation kinetics independently on the presence of β-nucleating agent; the carbonyl index of the material with the lowest MFI increased markedly at the beginning of irradiation as compared to the others materials. However, after prolonged irradiation time, the increase retarded.
