  • Studium polymer/jílových nanokompozitů je jednou z nejvíce expandujících oblastí polymerního výzkumu. Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit vliv přírodního jílu, jeho velikosti částic a použité modifikace na konečné vlastnosti PVC/jíl směsí. Dva druhy montmorilonitu - Cloisite Na+ a Bentonit P140 byly testovány. Nejdříve byly tyto jíly rozděleny na frakce lišící se velikostí částic, a poté byly izolovány dvě poslední frakce s nejmenší velikostí částic. Dále byly tyto frakce obou jílů modifikovány ion dipólovou metodou. Polyetylénglykol byl použit jako interkalační činidlo a jako kointerkalační byl použit isodecyldifenylfosfát. Zkoumaly se různé poměry těchto činidel. Stupeň interkalace se zjišťoval na rentgenové difrakci a FTIR. Následně se modifikovaná i nemodifikovaná plniva smíchala se suspenzním typem PVC a vyrobily se fólie, u nichž se srovnávaly výsledné vlastnosti připravených kompozitů. (cs)
  • The study of polymer/clay nanocomposite is one of the most expanding regions in polymer science. Aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of clay nature, its agglomerate size and used modification on final properties of PVC/clay compounds. Two kinds of montmorillonite, namely Cloisite Na+ and Bentonite P140, were tested. Firstly, these clays were sieved and two smallest fractions were isolated. Secondly, these fractions of both clays were modified by ion-dipole intercalation method. Polyethylene glycol was used as intercalation agent and isodecyl diphenyl phosphate as co-intercalation agent. Different ratios of these agents were applied. Further, degree of intercalation was compared by X-ray diffraction and FTIR. Consequently, modified nanofillers, as well as natural fillers were compounded with suspension type of PVC and other additives using double roll mill to produce sheet. Finally, comparison of final properties of PVC/clay compounds by various types of modified clays was performed.
