  • Radioopacitní medicinské šarže polymerního kompozitu termoplastického polyuretanu a různých množství plniva bismuth oxychloridu byla připravena a testována. Bismut oxychlorid, zvolen pro unikátní vlastnosti jako je vysoká radioopacita, netoxicita, excelentní chemická a fyzikální stabilita a dobra disperzibilita v polymerní matrici, byl mixován s termoplastickým polyuretanem pomocí laboratorního hnětače Brabender. Reologické vlastnosti kompoundu byly změřeny pomocí rotačního reometru ve zvoleném teplotním rozsahu. Vztahy mezi materiálovou kompozicí a výslednými teplotními-závislostmi reologických vlastností byly studovány. Výsledky ukázaly na významný vliv plniva na materiálové vlastnosti. (cs)
  • Radiopaque polymeric composites of medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane and various amounts of bismuth oxychloride filler were prepared and tested. Bismuth oxychloride, chosen for its unique properties such as high radiopacity, non-toxicity, excellent chemical and physical stability and good dispersibility in the polymeric matrix, was mixed with thermoplastic polyurethane using a laboratory kneader Brabender. Rheological characteristics of compounds were measured with the help of rotational rheometer in the selected temperature region. The interrelation between material compositions and resulting temperature-dependent rheological properties was studied. The results indicate the significant influence of the filler on the material properties.
