  • Temperature-dependent viscosity curves and pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) data were interconnected in order to estimate pressure effect on flow behaviour of polyphenylsulfone melt. Shear viscosity measurements at three temperatures were carried out using capillary rheometer. PVT data at selected pressures from 20 to 200 MPa were determined in the wide temperature range covering the viscosity data. From PVT diagrams free volume parameter was calculated through Simha-Somcynsky equation of state (SSeos). A recently proposed modification of interrelation between the dependencies of SSeos free volume parameter and temperature-dependent viscosity was used for estimation of shear viscosity pressure dependencies. Determination of pressure effect on polyphenylsulfone melt viscosity using modified capillary rheometer confirmed the viscosity and free volume behaviour interconnection applicability.

  • Teplotně závislé viskozitní křivky a tlakově-objemová-teplotní (PVT) data byla spojena za účelem určení tlakového koeficientu tokového chování polyphenylsulfonu. Smyková viskozitní měření při třech teplotách byla provedana na kapilárním viskozimetru. PVT data u vybranuch tlaků 20-200 MPa byla určena v širokém rozmezí teplot pokrývající viskozitní měření. Z PVT diagram byl vypočten skrze Simha-Somcynskeho stavovou rovnici (SSeos) volno-objemový parameter. Nedávno navržená modifikace spojení mezi závislostí volno-objemového parametru a teplotně-závislé viskozity byla použita pro odhad tlakové závislosti smykového viskozitního chování. Určení efektu tlaku na viskozitu taveniny polyfenylsulfonu byla ověřena pomocí modifikovaného kapilárního reometru. (cs)
