| - Předkládaná práce se zabývá nově vyvinutým bioaktivním polymerním filmem na bázi syntetického polymeru polyvinylalkoholu (PVA) a kyseliny mléčné (LA) - obnovitelného materiálu, který je možno získat fermentací sacharidů. Vzorky s rozdílnou koncentrací LA byly připraveny odlévací technikou. Kombinace PVA a LA poskytuje flexibilní film s bakteriostatickými vlastnosti proti patogenním mikroorganismům Staphylococcus epidermidis, Micrococcus sp. a Pseudomonas putida. Tento materiál může nalézt své uplatnění v biomedicinálních aplikacích. Hlavní důraz výzkumu byl kalden na tepelně mechanické vlastnosti, morfologii a antibakteriální aktivitu. (cs)
- The presented paper deals with newly developed bioactive polymeric films based on synthetic polymer, poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA), and renewable material, fermentation product of natural processes, lactic acid (LA). The samples with various ratio of LA were prepared by using of solvent cast technique. The combinations of PVA and LA yield flexible polymeric film with good bacteriostatic properties against pathogenic bacterial species Staphylococcus epidermidis, Micrococcus sp. and Pseudomonas putida, which could be potentially utilized in applications such as skin covers, wound dressing or protective coating. The main attention will be paid to mechanical and thermal properties of prepared films. The morphology and antibacterial activity is also discussed.
