Description
  • V současné době je zvýšený zájem pro využití syntetických polymerů v automobilovém průmyslu a letectví, jedná se zejména o využití PE, PP, PC a PS pro součásti interiérů, exteriérů a také funkčních částí dopravního prostředku. Polyemry umožnily nahradit tradiční inženýrské materiály, jako např. kovy, zejména v důsledku jejich vhodných fyzikálních a chemických vlastností. (např. vysoký poměr pevnosti k váze, odolnost vůči korozi apod.). (cs)
  • At the present time, increased demand for application of synthetic polymers in automotive industry and aeronautics is evident, mainly in utilization of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC) or polystyrene (PS) components of the interior, exterior or the functional parts of the vehicle. Polymers were able to replace more traditional engineering materials, such as metals on account of their many desirable physical and chemical properties (e.g. high strength-to-weight ratio, resistance to corrosion etc.) and their relatively low price.
