Description
  • It is known that structure of some geopolymers is similar to that of sodalite, which is a natural zeolite with characteristic cubooctahedral unit. Natural zeolite ultramarine has also sodalite structure and i tis characteristic with its blue color. Presence of chromophore anionic radicals S3-, which are closed in cubooctahedral units of sodalite, cause the blue color of ultramarine. Presence of anionic chromophore radicals S2- cause yellow color and bring about green color of some type sof ultramarine. We suppose that addition of polysulphide solution to geopolymer should chage its color if sodalite structure is prezent. The presented work is focused on verifying of this hypothesis.

  • Je známo, že struktura některých geopolymerů je podobná struktuře sodalitu, což je přírodní zeolit s charakteristickou kobooktaedrickou jednotkou. Přírodní zeolit - ultramarín, má také sodalitovou strukturu a je charakteristický svou modrou barvou. Přítomnost chromoforních aniontových radikálů S3-, které jsou uzavřeny uvnitř sodalitových struktur, způsobuje charakteristickou modrou barvu ultramarinu. Přítomnost aniontových radikálů S2-v sodalitových strukturách vede ke žluté barvě a tím vzniká u některých typů ultramarinu barva zelená. Bylo předpokládáno, že po přídavku roztoku polysulfidu do geopolymeru, by mělo dojít ke změně barvy, pokud jsou přítomny v materiálu sodalitové struktury. Předkládaná práce se zaměřuje na verifikaci této hypotézy. (cs)
