Description
Byly použity dva typy pojiva: B1 obsahující parafinový vosk, polyetylen, etylen/butyl akrylátový kopolymer, a B2 skládající se z polypropylenu, parafinového vosku, carnauba vosku a kyseliny stearové. (cs)
  • Viscoelastic behaviour of hard-metal carbide powders dispersed in two different polymeric matrices is studied in a parallel discs rheometer. The first binder (B1) consisted of paraffin wax, polyethylene and ethylene/butyl acrylate copolymer, the second (B2) contained polypropylene, paraffin wax, carnauba wax and stearic acid. Dynamic functions are strongly affected by the concentration of carbide powder (20-55 vol. %), exhibiting yield at high solids loading. Yield values were found to be an exponential function of the powder content. Furthermore, it was found that the viscoelastic parameters of highly concentrated compounds are strain dependent, even when subjected to small strain amplitudes. The B2 lower very effectively both, dynamic viscosity and storage modulus, of the 20 - 50 vol. % carbide powder compounds. Nevertheless, at 55 vol. % the cause of the viscoelastic functions is governed by powder characteristics, regardless of the polymer binder used. A comparison of the dynamic and complex visco
