  • Morfologie a struktura vystřikovaných beta-vzorků byla pečlivě studována pomocí rentgenografie a světelné mikroskopie před a po UV stárnutí. Bylo zjištěno, že povrchové trhliny na vzorku tvoří soustředné kruhové oblouky mající střed ve vtoku. Tento efekt byl vysvětlen jako výsledek chemické krystalizace, která vedla k nárůstu celkové krystalinity a následnému povrchovému smrštění. Mimoto, byl zřejmý vliv teploty tuhnutí taveniny (tzn. teploty formy) na charakter zmiňovaných trhlin. Bylo také zjištěno pomocí infračervené mikroskopie, že degradační profil vstřikovaných iPP vzorků závisí na charakteru morfologie vyplývající právě z různých teplot tuhnutí. (cs)
  • Morphology and structure of injection-molded beta-specimens before and after UV aging were rigorously studied by wide-angle X-ray scattering and light microscopy. It was found that the surface cracks on specimens form circular arcs radiating from the injection gate. This effect was explained as a result of chemi-crystallization, which led to crystallinity increase and consequent surface shrinkage. Furthermore, influence of solidification temperature (that means the mold temperature) on character of mentioned cracks was obvious. Finally, infrared microscopy revealed that degradation profile of beta-iPP injection-molded specimens depended on a morphology character resulting from various solidification temperatures.
