  • The first part of the paper deals with flow analyses of thick wall rubber parts. The flow analyses are based on the numerical method - Finite Element Method. The flow solvers deal with the mid plane flow analyses or/and 3D analyses. The paper shows and compares the results of both kinds of the analyses of the plastic part of the rubber bushing. The other part of the paper is focused on the analyses of the co injection molding of the plastic grommet. The grommet is injected in two steps. The first one isthe grommet PP body injection and two metal contacts with wires encapsulation. The second step is the EPDM sealing cup co injection. There were done the technological and the mechanical analyses of the co injection process. The technological analyses re search the optimal conditions of the injection molding and except optimisation they compute the pressure, temperature and shear rate in the mold cavity.
