Description	Paper is dealing with an enzymatic degreasing process of cattle hides. The work aimed to find out the optimal reaction conditions for the degreasing process. This process runs in slightly temperature conditions in alkaline region using 3 % solution of cyclohexylamine for adjusting pH value of reaction mixture to 11.0. Commercial enzyme Greasex of 0.1 to 1 per cent concentration is added to the process. The whole process is based on mild reaction conditions - water bath temperature is 40 oC. After filtration process of heterogeneous mixture, obtained solid phase is used for manufacturing of industrial needed protein hydrolysates.
