Description	Testing of UHPC concrete sample beams started in 2009 at the Klokner Institute of the Czech Technical University (CTU). The material was developed by Skanska CZ a.s. together with BASF CZ Ltd and the development is supported by the CTU and Pontex Consulting Engineers Ltd for better future practical applications. In the paper testing of samples is described as well as evaluation of the results and economical/environmental comparison with standard concrete. The intended use is aimed to precast structural members in transport structures mainly where long durability is required.
