| Description
| - Analysis of meteorological data from a limited number of stations has revealed the need for upgrading the following two types of maps. These are the wind speed map of the Czech Republic and the maximum wind gust map for gusts exceeding the maximum pressures according to Eurocode load model. A 10-minute mean wind speed map was drafted in accordance with the Eurocode requirements in collaboration between the Klokner Institute of the Czech Technical University (KI CTU) in Prague and the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI). For the purpose of the map elaboration, statistical deviations in measured speed series were eliminated, as well as the impacts of terrain changes at locations of stations. The map was built with standard methods in GIS environment, which enable to include the elevation influence and to use a low pass filtration. The map will be used as part of the national annex of the ČSN EN 1991-1-4.

- Rozbor meteorologických dat z omezeného počtu stanic ukázal potřebu změnit mapu rychlostí větru České republiky a existence maximálních nárazů větru, které převyšují hodnoty nárazů větru, odpovídajících maximální velikosti tlaků podle modelu zatížení v Eurokódu. Ve spolupráci KÚ ČVUT a ČHMÚ byla vytvořena mapa desetiminutových středních rychlostí pro území ČR podle požadavku Eurokódu. Při jejím zpracování byly vyloučeny statistické odchylky v řadách měřených rychlostí a vliv změn terénu v místě meteorologických stanic. Pro sestavení mapy byly použity standardní metody v prostředí GIS, umožňující zahrnutí vlivu nadmořské výšky, a nízkofrekvenční filtrace (Low pass filtration). Mapa středních rychlostí byla korigována také s ohledem na maximální nárazy větru. Bude použita v národní příloze ČSN EN 1991-1-4. (cs)
