  • Je navrženo užití fólie s mnoha děrami pro zvýšení účinnosti transformace energie laseru do urychlených protonů. 2,5-dimensionální simulace metodou %22Částice v buňce%22 (Particle-In-Cell) ukazují, že pro terč s mnoha děrami účinnost je 9,3%, zatímco pro rovinnou fólii je ve stejných podmínkách jen 1,5%. The multiholes transpiercing the foil target help to enhance the laser-proton energy-conversion efficiency significantly.
