  • Steady state and time resolved spectroscopy were applied to investigate photophysical behavior of three new headgroup-region labels for membrane studies, ABA-C7, ABA-C15 and ABA-C19, incorporated in large unilamelar vesicles (LUV) composed of lipid molecules, 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DPPC). In order to understand more thoroughly the interaction of the label with the molecules in a bilayer, we studied the influence of the temperature and the length of the aliphatic chain linked to the chromophore (aminobenzanthrone) on the specific position where the label self-locates within a membrane.

  • Stacionární a časově rozlišená fluorescenční měření byla použita k výzkumu fotofyzikálního chování tří nových sond pro studium membrán. Pro bližší porozumění interakci sondy s molekulami v membránové dvojvrstvě byl studován vliv teploty a délky alifatického řetězce připojeného k chromoforu na pozici sondy uvnitř membrány. (cs)
