Description
  • The paper discusses application of hybrid evolutionary systems also known as two-layer genetic systems to symbolic regression of deterministic chaos systems. This task is significant for many applications in control of complex nonlinear systems, their modelling etc. The identification of nonlinear systems with chaotic behaviour also brings intersting test bed to hybrid GPA-ES evolutionary systems development. The paper presents discussion of such topics influencing GPA-ES features and behaviours as GPA population initial structure, probabilities of structure occurence of population sizes influence. It also contains observations of real properties based on regression of Lorenz, Roesler, Van der Pol and Rabinovich-Fabrikant systens, especially the ability to reconstruct original model used to test data generating and inluence of GPA and ES populatiion sizes.
