Description
  • In this paper, the research in the field of double fed, double-stator induction motors with a ferromagnetic rotor is introduced. This machine was designed as a special electromechanical energy converter with a hollow, thin-walled, outer ferromagnetic rotor, aimed to be used in industry desiccative facilities. For this purpose, a dynamic mathematical model was worked out, implemented and executed in the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment. Finally, the theoretical analysis had been supplemented by experimental results measured on an implemented machine prototype.
