Description
  • The Green Investment Program, supported by the Ministry of Environment; State Environmental Fund, of the Czech Republic is encouraging people towards installation and investment of energy efficient and green energy technologies. In this paper we present the development of a detailed model and simulation for a floor heating system commonly used in households. The system modeling was performed using Wolfram Mathematica, and was evaluated using finite element method in Agros 2D, for weather conditions typical in the Czech Republic. Such a study is useful in understanding the temperature distribution on the floor surface, taking into consideration various other parameters involved in domestic heating systems.
