Description	The main aim of this project is the evaluation of voice and speech disorders in the field of several areas including dysarthria of Parkinson's disease, children dysphasia, stuttering, and speech dysfluency. The project deals with creation of speech databases, labelling several types of utterances, acoustic analysis, design and development of signal processing algorithms for automatic evaluation of speech features, design of appropriate classifiers, but also collaboration with speech-language pathologists in assessment of quality of speech and with neurologist in assessment of patients' global motor impairment. The research in the area of speech pathology has a crucial role to play in both theoretical and practical issues of developing and improving speech treatment across a range of diseases and conditions. The theoretical results yield essential knowledge for multidisciplinary science development in areas of acoustic, neurology, and linguistics.
