Description
  • The synchronized CMOS RF switch was designed and developed mainly to enable the measurement of on-the-market DVB-T receivers on tolerance to impulsive noise and interference. The CMOS RF high isolation switch is synchronized to DVB-T OFDM symbol period (FFT frame) to inject impulsive noise in exact position within the useful part of OFDM symbol. Thus, the impulsive interference test-retest reliability (measurement repeatability) is guaranteed. The input/output impedances are matched to 50 ohms, the insertion loss is smaller than 1 dB and the port isolation is better than 40 dB up to 500 MHz. The switch operates up to 1 GHz. The huge amount of impulsive noise tolerance tests was carried out. The most interesting results were published in the paper accepted on conference Radioelektronika 2011, which is indexed in Thomson ISI. The construction of the switch and the measurement of impulsive noise tolerance were supported by the Research Program MSM 6840770014.
