  • The amplifier has been created using the GaAs technology with selected low-noise MESFET (several samples have been created with various transistors). The circuit has been thoroughly simulated by the Circuit Interactive Program with a utilization of its original frequency-domain sensitivity analysis, which has been published in the impacted journal AEÜ (International Journal of Electronics and Communications, IF=0.508). Let us emphasize that the algorithm also enables to compute the sensitivities of the noise figure. Moreover, a novel type of the model of transmission lines has also been used for necessary simulations (seven transmission lines had to be modeled for an accurate characterization of the circuit). The new model of transmission lines has been published at IEEE MWSCAS. The measurements have confirmed the noise figures below 1dB at 6GHz range for some samples (some of them have had the noise figure above 1dB but a selected one has had the noise figure significantly below 1dB).
