Description	The main purpose of this paper is to present some of the simulation results of the optical nonlinearities of fibers with a focus on the parametric four wave mixing processes. These nonlinear processes offer very interesting properties that may be used possibly in optical signal processing in telecommunication systems but they are also in some respect a limiting factor in the case of DWDM systems. In this paper the simulation result of FWM is presented.
