Description
| - Představujeme čip vyrobený technologií CMOS obsahující 11016 elektrod a 126 kanálů pro zpracování dat. Každý z kanálů obsahuje vstupní a výstupní budiče pro obousměrnou komunikaci s elektrogenními buňkami (neurony a cardiomyocyty (srdeční buňky)). Systém umožňuje měření s prostorovou rozlišovací schopností srovnatelnou s velikostí zkoumaných buněk (průměr elektrody 7 um, vzdálenost středů 18 um, hustota 3200 elektrod na mm2). Systém se vyznačuje vysokou flexibilitou danou programovatelnou propojovací maticí a velmi nízkou úrovní šumu danou umístěním prvního zesilovacího stupně mimo vlastní matici. (cs)
- We present a CMOS-based microelectrode array with 11'016 metal electrodes and 126 on-chip channels. Each channel includes recording and stimulation electronics for bidirectional communication with electrogenic cells, such as neurons or cardiomyocytes. The new features of this chip include the possibility to perform high spatial resolution recordings with 3'200 electrodes per mm2 at cellular or subcellular resolution (electrode diameter 7 um, pitch 18 um), a great flexibility in routing the 126 channels to the 11'016 recording sites, and low noise levels since the large front-end amplifiers are placed outside the electrode array.
