  • Nowadays Hyperthermia is one of the possible cancer treatment method used in combination with classical therapies in several countries in the world. In this article we described the designed and optimization of a microstrip type applicator for the treatment of superficial diseases. The optimization was made in order to obtain a more uniform SAR distribution, which is one of the requirements to achieve a good thermotherapy treatment.

  • Hpertermie je v dnešní době jednou z možných léčebných metod rakoviny, která se používá v kombinaci s klasickými léčebnými terapiemi v několika zemích po celém světě. V tomto článku popisujeme návrh a optimalizaci mikropáskového typu aplikátoru pro léčbu povrchových onemocnění. Optimalizace byla provedena s ohledem na dosažení větší rovnoměrnosti SAR distribuce, jenž je jedním z požadavků pro dosažení dobré termoterapeutické léčby. (cs)
