  • This work analyses the influence of the EEG recording sampling instants systematic time shift on the subsequent surface filtering. The theoretical model of the common mode (CM) signal rejection with a general surface filter is presented. Interpolation is proposed to align sampling instants. Promising results for two configurations commonly used in brain-computer interface (BCI) domain are shown. Suggested interpolation techniques might be generalized and used in any case when there is a sequentially-sampled sensor array followed by any postprocessing.
