  • Electromechanical actuators working on the principle of thermoelasticity represent prospective control devices in a lot of industrial, transport and other applications where high forces are needed on relatively small shifts. The paper deals with the computer simulation of such devices. Their ma-thematical models are given by three partial differential equations describing electromagnetic field, temperature field and field of thermoelastic displacements and must usu-ally be solved as contact task. The methodology is illus-trated on an example of a typical device of this kind. The results obtained are analyzed and discussed.

  • Elektromechanické aktuátory pracující na principu termoe-lasticity představují perspektivní řídicí prvky v mnoha prů-myslových, dopravních a jiných aplikacích vyžadujících velké síly při poměrně malých posuvech. Článek se zabývá jejich počítačovou simulací. Matematický model problému sestává ze tří parciálních diferenciálních rovnic pro elek-tromagnetické pole, teplotní pole a pole termoelastických deformací a musí být řešen jako kontaktní úloha. Metodika je ilustrována na dvou příkladech, jejichž výsledky jsou analyzovány a diskutovány. (cs)
