  • Elektromagnetické míchání ocelí představuje moderní technologický proces, jehož účelem je odstranění přebytečných plynů, homogenizace taveniny a výhodnější nukleace charakterizovaná izotropní strukturou. Tento proces však vyžaduje velké množství energie, poněvadž zpracovávané množství oceli v jedné dávce může dosáhnout několika desítek tun. Celkovou účinnost zařízení lze zvýšit použitím vhodných stínicích prvků zabraňujícím magnetickému poli pronikat mimo zařízení. Příspěvek představuje studii zabývající se návrhem stínicích elementů jedné konkrétní pánve. Hodnotí se jejich vliv nejen na rozložení magnetického pole, ale také na rozložení Jouleových ztrát a Lorenzových sil v tavenině. (cs)
  • Electromagnetic stirring of steels represents a modern technological process whose purpose is degasification of melt, its homogenization (particularly in case of various steel alloys) and better nucleation characterized by practically isotropic structure of later solidified material. The process requires, however, a lot of energy for generating such magnetic field that is capable of producing sufficiently high internal sources of heat (must be approximately equal to the heat losses) and dynamic forces that make the melt (up to tens of tons) move. The total efficiency of the device may be improved by using suitable shielding elements that, moreover, prevent the magnetic field from penetrating out of the device. The paper presents a study concerning design of such shielding elements for a particular pan. Evaluated is their influence not only on distribution of magnetic field, but also on distribution of the resultant Joule losses and Lorentz forces in melt.
