Description
  • Transport of loose materials is often realized by technology consisting in their mixing with water or another suitable liquid and consequent conveyance of the mix through long iron pipes. The internal surface of such pipes is then exposed to strong unfavorable mechanical influences, in particular abrasion, which can lead to their successive damage or even destruction. That is why these surfaces have to be sufficiently mechanically resistant. And one of the ways how to reach it is their continual induction hardening. The paper presents the complete mathematical model of the process. While the distribution of the electromagnetic and temperature fields in the pipe is modeled in a standard manner using the time-variable boundary condition, the process of cooling is solved by an approximate theoretically empirical procedure based on experimental data. Computations are performed by a code fully developed and written by the authors.

  • Doprava sypkých materiálů se často realizuje jejich smíšením s vodou či jinou vhodnou kapalinou a následnou přepravou vzniklé směsi dlouhými železnými rourami. Vnitřní povrch těchto rour je vystaven silným nepříznivým mechanickým vlivům, zejména otěru, jenž může vést k jejich postupnému poškození či zničení. Proto musí být tyto povrchy dostatečně mechanicky odolné, čehož lze jejich prokalením. Příspěvek představuje kompletní matematický model tohoto procesu. Zatímco rozložení elektromagnetického a teplotního pole se provádí klasickým způsobem při zavedení časově proměnných okrajových podmínek, proces chlazení se řeší speciální teoreticky-empirickou metodou vycházející z experimentálních dat. Teoretická analýza je doplněna o ilustrativní příklad a diskuzi jeho výsledků. Výpočty jsou provedeny plně vlastním programem. (cs)
