Description
  • This primary study is intended to implement a non-invasive pulse wave (PW) measurement in a human arterial system. Measured phonocardiographic signals are used to estimate parameters of arterial segments, above all the arterial compliance. A model of selected parts of the arterial tree was proposed for this purpose. The model is based on electric analogy of the RLCG transmission line and the arterial system. The parameters are identified using optimization methods and sensitivity analysis in a time domain in Circuit interactive analyzer (C.I.A.) software.
