Description
| - *Detailed 1-D model of radial turbine with variable geometry was refined using existing model from previous year. Based on that, twin-scroll turbine model was created – the model is based on modelling of the physics inside typical turbine of that type. It enables to obtain detailed information of thermodynamic processes in 1-D rotating channel. Detailed calibration was performed to verify model predictive ability.

| - Detailní 1-D model radiální turbiny včetně modelů hlavních ztrát. Model je založen na objektech umožňujících řešit nestacionární 1-D proudění v rotujícím kanále. Po kalibraci na základě dostupných experimentálních dat je možné extrapolovat pracovní mapy turbiny do oblastí, kde je obtížné nebo velmi drahé měřit. Dále je možné model použít v detailní simulaci přímo na motoru v případech, kde lze očekávat selhání jednoduchých přístupů (standardní pracovní mapy lopatkových strojů) – např. přechodové režimy, silně pulzační provoz nebo twin-scroll varianta.
