Description	Generally, arterial branching and bifurcation represent parts of cardiovascular system with higher probability of atherosclerosis or parts, where atherosclerosis occurs at first. A cause of this phenomenon is not known compactly. There are a few of possible reasons. In present study, we have focused on a state of vascular wall near a crotch of aortal bifurcation. High strain values or high strain gradients are believed to be one of the disease accelerators. This study compares results of mechanical tests with human aortal bifurcation and histomorfometrical observations.
