Description
  • This work briefly presents the possibility of using semi-analytical method for the examination of deformation of filament wound composite models. When adopting the simplifying assumption of the elastic deformation analysis are also used: anisotropic elasticity in curvilinear coordinates, the Fourier series expansion, the idea of local material orthotropy and the principle of total potential energy minimum. The work deals with the applications of mechanics of composite materials in the field of biomechanics, the analyzed models are motivated by the human heart shape.
