Description
  • The goal of this paper is to examine the capability of the fractal analysis for the description and explanation the changes in microclimate and in small water cycle that is violated by human activities. The data measured on fifteen measuring centres in the landscape are collected into the database and their fractal dimensions are computed. A modified Box Counting method is used for the computations. The comparison of the fractal dimension values for different kinds of surfaces confirms the discriminatory capability of the fractal analysis. The applicability of the proposed method for the checking of data correctness is briefly introduced.
