  • Experience collected over the last years revealed that the mechanical properties of laser sintered parts are dependent on the amount of energy applied within the part. As well the orientation has a great influence on the mechanical properties due to the anisotropy of sintered parts. In this study the main leading material and processing parameters are discussed in respect to the mechanical properties of final parts within the Laser Sintering procedure. The most important ones were applied within the experiment where the 3-D model of mechanical properties in relation to the position in the building frame was evaluated.
