  • In this paper possibilities of K-T two-parameter fracture mechanics theory implementation into FE simulations of fatigue cracks propagation are discussed. Attention is focused on quantification of a T-Stress influence on the fatigue crack growth rate and direction. Numerical simulations were carried out for simple test specimens, with which were realized experimental measurements. Simulations were based on an incremental model crack extension. Special control script code was developed to simulate fatigue (stable) crack propagation in 2D bodies using commercial FE code ABAQUS.

  • V článku jsou diskutovány možnosti aplikace K-T dvouparamerické lomové mechaniky v MKP simulacích šíření únvové trhliny. Pozornost je soustředěna na kvantifikaci vlivu T-napětí na rychlost a směr šíření. Jsou prezentovány numerické simulace a zkoušky jednoduchých vzorků. Simulace byly založeny na vlastním programovém skriptu vyvinutém v rámci komerčního MKP programu ABAQUS (cs)
