  • Šíření únavových trhlin je jedním z významných únavových procesů vedoucích k poruše technických konstrukcí. Dostatečně přesné predikce šíření trhlin v kostrukcích různého tvaru a komplexního zatížení pomocí analytických vzorců nelze často provést. Jako výschodisko se ukazuje nasazení MKP softwarů a implementovat do nich zákonitosti lomové mechaniky. Speciální program pro simulace šíření únavových trhlin v softwaru ABAQUS je vyvíjen na ČVUT v Praze. (cs)
  • Crack growth phenomenon takes in many industries an important part of total fatigue life of structures. Sufficiently accurate evaluation of crack propagation in structures with complex shape and loading using analytical relations is often impossible. So FEM seems to be very powerful tool for prediction of crack propagation. However, many tasks related to modeling technique and fracture mechanics criteria have to be solved and verified before employment. Special program for crack propagation simulation under FE software ABAQUS is being developed and verified at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU).
