  • Článek prezentuje výsledky numerických simulací proudění s volnou hladinou. Matematický model je založen na Reynoldsovsky středovaných Navierových-Stokesových rovnicích, doplněný o SST k-omega model turbulence. Poloha volné hladiny je určena pomocí jednoduché varianty metody VOF. Numerický kód užitý pro výpočty je založen na diskretizaci rovnic metodou konečných objemů. Tento nově vyvinutý program je testován na simulacích proudění vody v otevřeném kanále se žebrovaným dnem. (cs)
  • The paper presents some of the results of simulations of turbulent free-surface flow. Mathematical model is based on Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes system complemented by SST k-omega turbulence model. Free-surface is captured by simple implementation of VOF method. Numerical code is based on finite volume discretization of governing system. The newly developed code is tested for simulation of water flow in an open channel with ribbed bottom.
