  • The report enlarges the previous studies of the autors on finite element (FE) modelling of vibrations and aeroelastic instabilities of airfoils by including the turbulence effects and additional degree of freedom for controlling of the profile motion by a trailing edge flap. First, the nonlinear equations of motion for the airfoil with three degrees of freedom and large vibration amplitudes are derived and tested, and some preliminary results for flow-induced vibrations in a laminar flow are presented. In the second part, the Reynolds-Averaged-Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations for turbulent flow with the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model are solved by Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) method for flow-induced vibrations of the NACA profile 0012 with two-degrees of freedom. The approaches for laminar and turbulent flows are compared by presenting a sequence of numerical simulation examples.

  • Zpráva rozšiřuje předchozí studie autorů věnované simulaci vibrací a aeroelastických nestabilit metodou konečných prvků zahrnutím turbulentních efektů a dalšího stupně volnosti. Nejprve jsou odvozeny nelineární pohybové rovnice pro problém se 3 stupni volnosti . Dále je popsána aproximace Reynoldsových středovaných Navierových-Stokesových rovnic spolu se Spalartovým-Allmarasovým modelem turbulence pomocí stabilizované metody konečných prvků. Zpráva obsahuje srovnání turbulentních a laminárních výsledků. (cs)
