Description
| - PID controllers, massively used in industrial practice, imply a continual search for methods making controller parameter setting easier, the best, fully automatically without demands on a human participation. Developed methods are mostly based on the theory using linear models of control loops. Applied to real control loops they do not to provide satisfactory results. Considering refusing attitude to mathematical modelling in industrial practice, all the methods using somehow Ziegler and Nichols principles are those having chance to be really implemented. This is why Relay Feedback methods have become popular nowadays. Motivation for the investigation presented in the paper is to overcome the main disadvantage of the Relay Feedback methods – restricted control function during the identification phase. Using global methods of optimal setting it is possible to evaluate necessary indicators from oscillation inserted in the close control loop and suggest adaptive PID controller tunin

- Hromadné použití PID regulátorů v průmyslové praxi přináší neustálé hledání jednodušších metod seřizování, nejlépe plně automatické nevyžadující lidskou účast. Vyvinuté metody jso většinou založeny na teorii použivající lineární modely. Aplikují-li se na skutečné regulační obvody nedávají uspokojivé výsledky. Uváží-li se odmítavý postoj průmyslové praxe k matematickému modelování, všechny metody používají nějak Zieglerovy a Nicholsovy principy (cs)
