Description
  • In the finite element method framework, problems with corner-like singularities (e.g. on the well-known L-shaped domain) are most often solved by adaptive strategy: the mesh near the corners is refined according to the a posteriori error estimates. In the paper we present an alternative approach. We use the a priori error estimates and asymptotic expansion of the solution to derive an algorithm for designing the refined mesh near the corner. We get very precise solution in a cheap way. We present some numerical results.

  • Problémy s rohovými singularitami jsou v metodě konečných prvků obvykle řešeny pomocí adaptivní strategie: síť v okolí rohů je zjemněna podle aposteriorních odhadů chyby. V článku předkládáme jiný přístup. Používáme apriorní odhady chyby a asymptotický rozvoj řešení pro odvození algoritmu pro návrh sítě v okolí rohu. Výsledkem je získání velmi přesného řešení levným způsobem. Předkládáme také několik numerických výsledků. (cs)
