  • The paper deals with a mathematical and numerical investigation of the influence of a forest stand on the atmospheric boundary layer flow over the complex topography. The homogeneous forest stand is simulated by a vegetation obstacle model based on a source term added to the momentum equations, depending on the local velocity magnitude, the characteristic area of the obstacle and the drag coefficient. The forest free area is supposed to be covered by a low vegetation and its influence is involved to a surface roughness parameter. Two mathematical flow models have been applied: 1) the full RANS equations considered in the conservative form and 2) the Boussinesq approximation of RANS equations written in the non-conservative form. Both models are designed for an incompressible flow. A simple algebraic turbulence closure is performed and stationary boundary conditions are assumed.

  • Tento článek se zabývá matematickým a numerickým modelováním vlivu bloku lesního porostu na proudění v mezní vrstvě atmosféry nad komplexním terénem. Lesní blok je v matematickém modelu reprezentován v pohybových rovnicích zvláštními členy aerodynamického odporu. Tyto členy závisí na lokální rychlosti proudění, charakteristické ploše průřezu lesa a jeho koeficientu odporu. Vliv nízké vegetace je vzat v úvahu v rámci volby parametru drsnosti v modelu turbulence. Byly použity dva rozdílné matematické modely proudění: 1) Reynoldsovsky středované Navierovy-Stokesovy rovnice v konzervativním tvaru, 2) Boussinesquova aproximace v nekonzervativním tvaru. Oba modely jsou určeny pro nestlačitelné proudění. Byl použit algebraický model turbulence a stacionární okrajové podmínky. (cs)
