  • The work is aimed at describing the influence of thermal treatment on the properties of PM tool steel with unusual chemical composition. Alloying with niobium positively effects the microstructure, the mechanical properties and the performance of the steel. The microstructure of the hardened steel is composed of a martensitic matrix, retained austenite and various carbides. During tempering of the hardened steel at the temperatures above 480 oC precipitation of fine carbides occurs, which results in the secondary hardening. The optimum thermal treatment of the steel is austenitisation at 1050 -1100 C, nitrogen cooling and tempering at 540 oC (3x1 h).

  • Práce je zaměřena na popis vlivu tepelného zpracování na vlastnosti PM nástrojové oceli se zvláštním chemickým složením. Legování niobem pozitivně ovlivňuje mikrostrukturu, mechanické vlastnosti a výkonnost oceli. Mikrostruktura kalené oceli je složena z martenzitu, zbytkového austenitu a různých karbidů. Během popouštění kalené oceli při teplotách nad 480 oC dochází k precipitaci karbidů, což způsobuje sekundární vytvrzování. Optimální tepelné zpracování oceli je: austenitizace při 1050 -1100 C, kalení dusíkem a popouštění 3x540 oC (1 h). (cs)
